The hotel was very user friendly; the staff were generally polite; parking was outdoors and in front of hotel. We were there for a 90th birthday party and it was held in one of their banquet rooms. The Sunday brunch was outstanding in terms of selection and overall quality.

This is the worst hotel we have ever stayed at. We were supposed to stay here for 3days and thinking of extending and because of the treatment that we have received from the night front desk Manager we decided to check-out the following day and we had to find another hotel for the remainder of our stay. This night front desk manager was very rude and unprofessional. We were told to turn off our television, not turn it down but TURN OFF, last time I checked the TV is part of the amenities and after 5mins he called us and said there’s a second noise complaint because of my friend’s loud voice and told us that we can leave. My friend is actually partially deaf so for him to say that to her she felt discriminated. This hotel is not a sound proof hotel we can even hear people in the other rooms sneezing and talking. So if you have a crying baby with you expect that you will be asked to leave. The situation was handled poorly coming from a Manager who should be trained to handle situations like this. But instead he didn’t communicated things properly and appropriately. His character and attitude towards us does not have customer service and decency at all he felt so entitled and he’s ruining the name and reputation of this hotel. We won’t be coming back and we don’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

my stay was nice. bed comfortable. room temperature was very hard to regulate. window had a breeze from it. The lobby lounge forgot mine and my daughters order so she had to rush eating her food.. no compensation was suggested from server.,,,was there with a group. Check in was not pleasant. Was told they always preauthorize MORE than room rate...i was not told this when I booked on the phone.. lADY argued! with me.. SHE always tells people she said.. i simply said i wasn't told and she was rude. Did not need her opinion My friend who was checking in beside me was told that there was no way she could check in with someone else credit card unless the owner of card sent in form.. SHe refused to listen to her... then found the form..never admitted she was wrong.. said I apologize.. but not sorry i was wrong. room service forgot my FOOD for morning!! WAS questioned when did I put the door hanger out!!! Then said..hmmm they always pick them up... LIke I was lying ... they filled my order and brought it to my room.. NO COMPENSATION for their mistake again. At check out NO ONE asked me how my stay was.. I was going to let them know ALL their mistakes but they never asked.. this was a mid week stay.. not a busy hotel so no excuse for bad service. Had group meals in private room EXcellent service there and very good food.

Ridiculous noise level

The rooms are clean and the brunch was excellent however I stayed here for 3 nights and for two of them there were parties booked in a conference room next to my room. When I called the front desk due to the noise level they said they would try to see what they can do. Nothing changed. It's absolutely ridiculous to allow parties right beside guest rooms and a huge fault of the hotel. If you want to sleep this is not the hotel for you!

Excellent hotel. I go there once every year on business. Service is first class. Rooms are always clean and modern. Last year I needed a cable for my LED projector in the meeting room and they found one for me and brought it right away, then helped me set up my projector. It's my go-to hotel whenever I'm in Calgary.
